Outstanding model. Great surface finishes for a foamie and very well detailed. Looks and works great!

There's almost nothing bad to say about this plane. Great detail, very rigid, and best of all, amazing flyer! Even on the maiden, the plane just felt locked in. Tracked like it was on rails. It's not a great first warbird, since it is rather fast, however this is great as a second. I put a 4000 all the way forward and got a 73mm CG as the manual asked. Flies great like that. The finish on this plane is amazing, and the detail is just stunning. Also, really love how the retracts are reinforced. They hold out great, even though I've had a couple hard landings. Assembly very easy and straightforward. Just be mindful that the stickers have a sort of outer film protection-layer over them, so peel that back. I found it out after I maidened it and half of them had come off by themselves. Definitely would recommend.

Very satisfied. Solid, precise flying model with great scale fidelity and good power/speed. Excellent customer support and very prompt order response and delivery. Set up with Admiral 4S 3600 all the way forward, Eagle A3-L (about 35% gain) positioned immediately behind on the aft portion of the battery tray (which happens to be at the CG), AR6200 RX (30% expo all around) on the underside of the ledge just forward of the cockpit. I recommend both this model and Motion RC.

Fun plane, easy to build, good power on a 4s 4000. Doesn't like to much wind, landings can be a little tricky, it loves to float. Fun plane, great detail, gear and components installed, good package.

This was my first warbird. I came from flying the E-Flite Apprentice and wanted a faster/cooler looking plane. Was nervous on the maiden flight, but was pleasantly surprised how responsive and stable the plane was, even without a gyro in it. Only complaint was that the stickers it came with sucked. Was probably user error, but I ended up ripping a couple of the bigger stickers. Great plane FlightLine!

First, this is an excellent plane and I am very very happy with how it flies! Tracks well on the ground and in the air. Speed is decent, probably fine for most and does well when balanced in moderate wind. I have flown with a 3300-3700mah 4s battery (35-45c) and will fly great with the battery all the way forward but I do recommend pulling the battery back slightly with a 3700 ish sized battery to help keep the nose up when landing. The Bad:- I really wish I could have returned the plane when I first opened the box, the no-paint foam QC is poor, dents, dings and chips all over the fuse, gluing the fuse halves together was done on a Friday at 5pm leaving even this poor. Once painted they patched a paint area with a brush and did a poor job at it. NOW they aren't all like this, the two others I have seen did not have this issue, it was just mine. ALSO I had a failed retract out of the box. I emailed Motion explaining I wanted to return the plane but I had glued the wings together already. They were nice enough to send me a replacement retract (as usual) but ignored the rest of my complaint. I guess you have to be a jerk to them to get their attention?

Awesome looking model with fit and finish. Flys well in calm to low wind. Mine was very unpredictable in pitch in landing configuration. Found elevator servo did not center well, replaced with JR model DS285 and it greatly improved the pitch reaction.

This was my first foam aircraft and first purchase from Motion RC. The model arrived on time and in excellent condition. Assembly was quick and easy, though I discovered on of the flap servos had a very bad chatter. I called tech support and a replacement was in the mail the next day, installed, no more issues. It flies like a dream and I usually keep the throttle back for a more scale looking flight. It took several flights to get the CG just right, but once established it settled right in.The markdown is for the decals and should really only be 1/2 star. They are very well printed and nice and clear, but they do not stick very well to the model, especially on the rear of the fuselage. This may have to do with the curvature but I think a slightly better adhesive would easily fix this.Overall though I love this model and have got an ever growing short list of futures purchases.
