“I flew mine for the first time a few months ago and I too like so many others was underwhelmed with its power in the stock configuration. I really like the look of the 4 bladed prop and didn't want to sacrifice that for a higher KV motor. My solution was to use a 5S battery with no other changes. This brings it to a level of power I find acceptable and the amp draw is still well below what the stock ESC is rated for. No problem with the unlimited vertical now.The only small complaint I had is that I had to add four onces of weight behind the cowl to get it to balance and that is using a 5S 3000mah. battery. I hate adding dead weight, I would prefer to add a larger battery to derive at least some benefit from the weight. Doesnt seem to detract from its flying though. It takes off great with her wide landing gear, and looks awesome in the air. easy as pie to land as well. Highly recommended great flying warbird. The finish and detail are outstanding. Motion always treats us right also. You cant go wrong!”
“Buddy of mine got one of these several months ago. Once I saw the quality of his I had to have 1. Only 2 flights on mine so far & she's flawless. Plenty of power & speed for fun, or scale flight. Handles like a baby even without a gyro. Lands beautifully. Can't say enough good things about this plane, except GET ONE!”

“Building the Bearcat was easy. I modified the paint and personalized it. Some difficulty in installing the screws for the wings and tail feathers. They ar small and easy to stripe the heads. Decals are an issue as noted on many other reviews. I us d thin ca to glue edges down. Added ESS Air sound system. Ready to maiden. Motion RC had to replace one flap servo as it came none operative.”

“Maiden my F 8 F today......great model....fly very well and has a nice scale apparence. Only disappoint..... one of gear door don't close well in the air and decals are poor quality...it's a pity because you can choose various scheme but difficult to apply......change with callie decals. No problem with electronics...look like good quality. Love this F8F.....4 stars only for the decals but i suggest this gorgeous warbird”

“Maiden my F8F today.....great model...easy to fly.....i use 4s 4200 lipo and added 100 gr. for correct cg, magnet of one gear door not work well....but in general no problem with electronics. The plane is very nice.....pity only for the decals ..... they would be beautiful but of poor quality ..... replaced with Callie decals.”
