“I’m in year 6 in the sport, and I swear I’m missing the “Landing gene”. I’m thinking I’m batting 1 out of 10 on flawless landings. I did the gear upgrade before I ever flew the P-38. I’ve had only a few bad landings with the P-38. It has more to do with the flight characteristics of the plane and the AS3X in the Spektrum AR637T receiver.The gear upgrade should just come standard with this plane like the 1600mm Corsair and Spitfire. “These gear look great. Not too much trouble to install although the nose can be a little exasperating but once you figure it out not bad. Haven't flown them yet but expect no problems in operation. I may upsize the set screws by drilling through the trunion and tapping them to a slightly larger size. I also plan to do this with my flightline 1600 mm spitfire also . The stock set screws are just too small to prevent turning of the struts and I plan to use screws with the star bit head because I can't seem to find a wrench that fits properly”

“Good construction, good materials. BUT no instructions on how to install. Want to use them, but need guidance on how to do that. There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to install the gears with shocks. Can any body explain how do do that!”
