“Great set of gear. Installed them yesterday and got a couple flights on them. Definitely softens a not so perfect landing. Putting the nose gear on is a little bit of work but I've taken gear servos apart before so it wasn't too hard - just time consuming. Worth the price.”

“These are very nice gear, but they do not function as smoothly as the original gear. They hang up on the gear doors and the colors can't close all the way. I've not flown it yet, but I'm expecting at least one gear up landing......”

“These are the upgrade for the stock retracts on the P-38. This would be a nice feature if it came with the model. The main gear change out fairly easily with just a few grub screws. The front gear is a little more complicated and does require some patience. Follow the instructional video, its very helpful. The whole process took about 45 minutes.”
