“The original gear might have been OK for smooth asphalt, but not for the rough terrain (desert lakebed) I must fly in. These do the job with little complaint.I would, however, suggest the gear be disassembled and the sliding surfaces be polished and properly lubed. Mine arrived dry and did not provide a smooth ride before this procedure. Great now!!”

“Easy to replace the original landing gear. The set is complete and the suspension works very good. Also good to buy a nose landing gear connecting pin just in case you have a rough landing on grass. This is a weak point. But better to lose a pin than to damage the plane.”

“The upgrade to the landing gear is a beautifully machined strut with more than 3/4 travel, making lands smooth even when the pilot is not. My only concern was the front strut is attached to the retract mechanism by two set screws. Keeping these tight after several landings and taxing activities is a pain.”
