I replaced the Flap push rods with 4-40 clevises and rods. Thats my only fault I found with this Kit. You can also spray (dust coats only) Acrylic clear Matt finish, brand name "Tree House" on the decals and they won't fly off. Take a paint sample to Home Depot ( use the Wing wire harness cover for a sample color) and have them match up a sample Latex jar of the Blue paint ($3.99). It's amazing how you can use that to cover scratches and nicks. It will also match the color on the Bearcat. I now have over 40 flights on this model. I use the stock Landing gear struts on a paved Runway. This Twin is easier to fly than most single Engine models i have ever flown ! All Grumman aircraft are exceptional flyers, and I can say that from having Flown all the Gumman" Cat" series. Over 50 years in the Hobby!

I have to admit, I've read about Motion taking care of their customers by standing behind products sold by the company. This is a first for me, and hopefully the last, but customer service was great dealing with my issue. Thanks Motion, and a special thanks to Derek in customer service. One low mark is only due to a part that went bad-IT HAPPENS, but is being replaced by Motion.

Made a review on 2-20-17 but had not flown the airplane. Since then I flew the first one twice (still have it- a gift from my wife-) and recently flew my second F7F in good weather. The airplane flies as good or better than any RC airplane I have ever flown. It lifts off with throttle only and lands by decreasing throttle. No need for flaps. Both airplanes fly like a Sig Kadet Sr. No surprises no problems- but first flights can cause a bit of stress. I am not an expert at flying but this airplane makes me feel as if I am GOOD hahahahaha. It is well worth the price. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEccw7ndDY4&feature=youtu.be

This airplane combines great looks, ease of assembly and easy to fly. It's size and weight gives it authority even in 25mph cross wind situations. It has plenty of power to get out of trouble and it's amazingly docile for a twin engine warbird. Intermediate pilots can fly it with a little coaching, and it's very easy to get uaed to it. Build quality is great. All parts fit with no modification. The battery and electronics compartment is cramped, but workable. It's not a design flaw. It's the nature of tye beast, since the real Tigercat's fuse is only 40 inches wide. Overall, a beautiful plane and a real head turner.

I've got 10 flights on my Tigercat. It is a quality airplane and goes together quickly. No surprises when flying. It tracks straight and lifts into the air smoothly. At full power it zips along at a nice clip for those low flybys where you dip the wing for the spectators. Loops nicely, rolls nicely.. When landing I add a touch of flaps and it comes down very smooth and predictable. I don't see a need to upgrade to the optional landing gear but It may be good for those flying off grass. This is one of my favorite planes to fly and always gets positive comments at the flying field. Just ordered my second plane from Motion. F16. Excited for it to arrive. Motion has excellent customer service. Good people!

The spring struts for the wing are a waste of money. Could not get them to track straight. After numerous adjustments I put original gear in wing, left sprung strut in nose. With two Admiral 4c 4000 batteries, extremely nose heavy, the top one is overhanging by half. I finally put a 4.8, “c” receiver battery in the fuse space behind rear wing tube. Now flys great. I wouldn’t fly this without a receiver battery. I like the safe margin Incase esc burns up. Do this in all of my bigger planes

This is my 2-nd review of Tigercat since I bought more than one. My 1-st review was 5 stars. Overall very good airplane, that is why I keep buying it. However there is an issue related to spar bar tube which is the reason I took off 1 star. The wing has 2 openings for 2 spar bars. One spar bar has bigger diameter, and the other spar bar has smaller diameter. The issue is related to bigger carbon spar bar which is located towards the front of the airplane. The carbon spar bar slides into the wing into carbon tube. The carbon tube is to thin and brakes easily. This happens partially because during paint process the carbon tube opening is not taped and paint gets inside of the tube and makes sliding the spar bar inside of the tube extremely difficult. I did not have that much issue on my 1-st Tigercat. Freewing A-10 (1.7 m) for example tapes the carbon tube opening to prevent paint from getting in.
