This is my 2-nd review of Tigercat since I bought more than one. My 1-st review was 5 stars. Overall very good airplane, that is why I keep buying it. However there is an issue related to spar bar tube which is the reason I took off 1 star. The wing has 2 openings for 2 spar bars. One spar bar has bigger diameter, and the other spar bar has smaller diameter. The issue is related to bigger carbon spar bar which is located towards the front of the airplane. The carbon spar bar slides into the wing into carbon tube. The carbon tube is to thin and brakes easily. This happens partially because during paint process the carbon tube opening is not taped and paint gets inside of the tube and makes sliding the spar bar inside of the tube extremely difficult. I did not have that much issue on my 1-st Tigercat. Freewing A-10 (1.7 m) for example tapes the carbon tube opening to prevent paint from getting in.

This is my second one---lost he first due to motor/ESC failure on takeoff which caused plane to snap and go in nose first. Was too low, too slow, to recover. Liked the plane so much, had to have another!!! Hopefully, no motor/ESC problem this time!! Otherwise, this is one off the most friendly planes to fly. Very scale-like in flight, and take-off and landings look like the real thing!! I gave good on the first question due to the problem I had with #1, other wise it would be VG.

I admit I have been spoiled by motionrc and the Freewing and Flightline models. The Flightline Tigercat I ordered in January is no exception to the great service of motionrc and the quality of the Tigercat from Flightline. The plane arrived quickly. The packaging and quality of the plane is unmatched. I ordered the suspension struts and other than one obstinate screw it was easier than I expected to install them. I ordered the decals from Callie Graphics. I did not have any trouble putting her together, everything went together smoothly. Finally got to fly her today, I wanted an absolutely great day for it. No wind, she took off smoothly from our grass field, brought her in and she landed smoothly. The only negative was I was the only one at the field to see her fly. I also want to thank Wayne for his help in setting the throws on my control surfaces. He was very patient. I would recommend this plane to anyone that wants a nicely handling, two engine warbird.

As always, shipping and packaging was top notch. Nothing was damaged or missing. Assembly was hassle free and quick. Although the reviews say the landing gear need not be upgraded, I will upgrade them to relieve added stress on the airframe apon landing. I don't even come close to making a perfect landing every time! And it will add to the scale looks of this already highly detailed model. Waiting for good weather to maiden. I will update this review after the first flights.

The Tigercat fly's and look great! I have about 8 flights on it and love the airplane, my buddy and I bought ours at the same time and he had a small accident on take of, rotated to soon and stalled about 2ft off of the ground, broke the front of the fuselage (fixable) but it broke both wing tubes and the tubes inside of the wing,( not a lot of damage to the wing itself) tubes are glued in. going to be a bummer to fix.

i bought the f7f 1 week ago. Also have the suspension upgrade.after assembly ,couid not get motors to run.beeps said no trannsmitter input.after cking this and that, found throttle servo on port wing plugged in reverse.CK ALL connections. Plane is fine now.Waiting for good weather to maiden.I also have the Pica Dullest.Have been flying it with 2 40s.Same wing design as f7f.dead engine flying a breeze.Just a note, real f7f engines rotate in the SAME direction.Again a very nice plane I will post again after first flight.
