FlightLine F7F-3 Tigercat 1600mm (63") Wingspan - PNP Reviews

4.8 Rating 191 Reviews
F7F Tigercat flies nice. Quite scale with the standard power setup. Overall quality of parts and assembly was good. Plane tracks true in air and on the ground. Nice plane, gets a lot of comments at field.......

Great airplane! Can't say enough good about it. From the factory the counter-rotating propellers are backwards. Just swap two wires on each motor and install the propellers on opposite side indicated. Doing this results in no critical engine, which is one of the major benefits of twin counter-rotating installations. In other words, you want to set it up so the TOP of the propeller rotates TOWARD the fuselage. If you don't do this, and one motor dies for some reason (highly unlikely), you'll have a flying shopping cart on your hands. The from-the-factory setup is a product of mass production and someone was looking at the back of the plane versue the front, or vice-versa.

What can I say other than my experience with this plane and Motion RC is nothing other than exceptional...I had a problem with a retract servo and they took care of it immediately...Great plane, and great service...Would recommend to anyone wanting quality products and service...If something isn't right, they will make it right. At least that has been my experience with Motion...

Kit went together quickly. It is well designed and the electronics are well thought out. Balancing to the C.G. should be done wheels up and it would be nice to have an obvious place for balance weights (6 oz,).

I thought I would add (since I mentioned that I got the upgrade struts in my previously posted review) that they really aren't necessary unless you're operating on a really poor runway. The original struts are heavy wire covered with painted plastic, which simply flex... and they are strong and perform very well. The upgrade struts are bare aluminum and don't look scale. (Compare the pictures) So I wouldn't recommend buying the upgrade struts unless you really need them.I LOVE my Tigercat, this plane rocks!

Was a bit concerned at ordering from the US with such a large model and the damage they can sustain through tranit, but was very pleased to find that the TigerCat was well protected and No damage. On assembly and tesing one of the main landing gear retracts became U/S but this was sorted quickly by MotionRc and as others have stated MotionRc customer service is second to none very pleased. The Tigercat is a great looking model, goes together well, I am yet to fly.I can certainly recommend MotionRc and the TigerCat and will be purchasing from them in the future.

Received this a few days ago well packed and well boxed,This is the most beautiful plane and well designed the finish just blew me away I have not yet done the build but I don't think there's going to be a problem, I wish they would have added the upgraded shock absorbers to this plane, now you have to go for 45.00 for them and there out of stock but I guess it's well worth it ,,,just amazing this bird***** Thanks Motion you guys are the best..Kevin.U
