FlightLine F7F-3 Tigercat 1600mm (63") Wingspan - PNP Reviews

4.8 Rating 191 Reviews
First test hop, followed by some more flights this Sunday. All I can say is buy it, fly it and you will love it. This plane flys like it is on rails. Beautiful in the air and impressive during low altitude passes. This airplane remains controllable on both ends of the speed spectrum. Set it up just as called out in the manual. The only thing I did differently was to have both props turning inwards, this way you won't have a critical engine issue if you lose a motor or an esc. Thanks MOTIONRC for a great product!

This plane flies fantastic as is... Do not, and I repeat, do not change the rotation of your props. A lot of engineering went into this plane as a model, it is not a full scale plane and does not fly as such. The recommended change by the previous review is not necessary, although I doubt that it will have an adverse effect, but why mess with perfection. Read all these reviews, 78 in all. Has this plane had any problems?Fly it as is, and enjoy it...Happy landings!!!

THE PROPELLERS SHOULD ROTATE TOWARDS FUSELAGE (pull off fake heads. Hook engine wires change any 2 and install prop so top spins inward }This keeps the total thrust closer to the centerline of the AIRCRAFT. This is critical for a twin as it keeps the VMC ( velocity of minimum control lower when operating on one engine ) I put food based grease on engine shaft, Epoxy to square portion behind prop base to take out slop I LOVE THIS PLANE !!!! . Got my Tigercat about 3 weeks ago, arrived nicely boxed and undamaged. Went together easily and quickly, especially after watching the build video on motion. Everything fits nice and tight with no gaps. First couple flights took a little trimming to get right but now she flies level and solid hands free with the 3000mah and the 2500mah admiral batteries. Getting an easy 5 minutes out of the 3000's with 3.8 per cell afterwards. One of the motors had a bearing issue that make a little extra noise, but Motion took care of it and mailed me out a brand new one. I recommend adding a little more down elevator on your flap mix as it tends to balloon a bit when the flaps are engaged. Also likes to come in to land with a little more speed than you'd expect, it doesn't glide as well as I thought it might, probably due to the heavy battery load in the front. I added some custom decals from Callie Graphics for it and this thing looks amazing in the air! Overall a very well put together plane and flies great. I would definitely recommend this to anyone on the fence, you won't be disappointed!
