FlightLine F7F-3 Tigercat 1600mm (63") Wingspan - PNP Reviews

I think Flightline F7F-3 Tigercat is a winner. It's really unbelievable how nice this model is.Easy to assemble, easy to fly.....it flies scale so don't look for a rocketship here, but it is amazing how big and how well made it is.If you like warbirds it is a must have.

Received my F7F last week, and had it built in 3 days. Took my time to make sure I didn't make any mistakes. It went together very nicely, all parts mated exactly, except a small problem getting left horizontal stab screw holes to line up (No big deal!) Everything worked perfectly as to servos, landing gear , and motors. Easy build, just take your time.Had my maiden flight yesterday Feb. 5th, and talk about a rock solid ship, that baby took off like a homesick angel!!! With very little trim, that bird was cutting across the sky at times like a rocket, and then in slow flight like a glider, with out a hint of stalling or snapping. A lot of the guys there, that fly big gassers, and sort of look down their noses at electric foamies, were very impressed with the plane both on the ground and in the air.as it has a great presence in both categories. I flew with 3200 MAH/ 4S lipos, and got a good 5 minutes from them, with time to spare for approach and landing. And the landing!! Looked like the real deal as it approached with flaps and gear down, the landing light lit, the bird settled with throttle adjustment to bring her in, landed on the mains and settled down onto the nose gear. I always get a bit nervous with first flights, but with this one, I was comfortable immediately after take-off as there were no bad characteristics!I could go on, but I'll sum it up by saying Way to go Motion and Flightline!! You guys did it again. Keep it up!!

Received airplane well packed with no damage. Easy assembly, every thing fit well. I always coat my foam airplanes with minwax poly clear, but on this plane it really made the foam beads pop out . One set up problem. flap servo centers not equal,so you can,t get same travel on all four flaps. Also no access to any servo arm screws in wing servos, not a big deal but would help with set up. looking forward to flying in the spring, you lucky guys in the south!
