The plane was easy to put together and looks great, I have not flown it as yet due to weather conditions. The decals that came with the plane are a nightmare to put on, the water decals are too thin and keep breaking up, ordered a new a set but they are just as bad. When operating the servos in the body of the plane they keep hitting the blue connection box. But overall a very very nice looking warbird for the price.

Well thought out for assembly! Fly's like it is on rails! Easy to land with full flaps. Decals and stickers are a pain in the butt. Ended up ordering from Calle. Don't know if spelled correctly.

It is a spectacular rc plane. When it’s in the air it looks like the real thing.

The recommended C/G is too far forward. The model tips over, forward, easily. I looked at engineering diagrams of the real Spitfire, and noticed that the actual aircraft had a C/G further aft than the model. Because the model is, more or less scale, one can assume the C/G locations should be similar. Anyway, I moved my 5000mamp Admiral 6S an inch aft, from where the recommended balance location is. The plane flys much better now. It doesn’t tip over in the grass and break prop blades anymore. It trims up better in flight, not diving for the ground following a power reduction. As you move C/Gs aft, towards the aerodynamic center, airplanes become less stable in the pitch mode. I have noticed this at all. Try it, you’ll like it. Don’t be afraid of altering the C/G, slowly!

Was on the fence about purchasing this Spit for a month or so. Mainly due to the price. But once I started looking around at other planes in the 1200-1400mm size... there it was. A lot of other manufactures want a bit more money for smaller planes. I was very pleased at how fast it got to me and the fact that it was in perfect shape. Packaged really well. Went together quick. It looks stunning, the finish work is sweet! The only issue I had was the strobe behind the cockpit. The lead is a bit short to plug into the blue box easily. I made an extension to simplify. One note. Watch that lead. It would be easy to see it get wrapped in either the elevator or rudder servo horn/rod. I cut a small channel in the foam to burry it and keep it from tangling. It's a BIG BEAUTIFUL Mk IX!
