“This Spitfire flies fantastic. I use a 6s 6000mah battery. Give me a good 6-8 minutes of flight time depending on the throttle usage. Big prop sounds awesome on the low fly bys. Couple of things to note -- 1. I only use 55% elevator with 50% expo as it was really touchy on the maiden with 75% throw. 2. Make sure you have 100% rudder with a lot of expo for takeoffs as it really wants to torque to the left (off of an asphalt runway.). If you want an electric spitfire this is the one.”

“Set screws that hold the landing gear struts in are machined incorrectly. The landing gear literally fell out. Very lucky it was on the ground and not landing. Take out all 4 set screws that hold the strut in and make sure they seat correctly. On the plus side plane looks and flies great.”

“My first and very likely last purchase from Motion RC, a Flightline 1600mm Spitfire. In the main the kit is quite nice, although the decals are very thin and tear very easily and are a pain to attach - especially the tail band, on advice from a number of others I by-passed the blue mixer, but otherwise the kit is easy to assemble and a nice representation of a Mk9 Spitfire. My main problem is the poor quality of some of the parts - in my case the wing fairings. The right side fits well but the left doesn't fit and is far too short leaving a gap I can get my finger into. The end was crumpled and even after manipulation is still far too small. So what? Whilst not structural it is unsightly and stands out a mile away and spoils the look of the model which is disappointing given the price.I asked Motion for a replacement part and was told it wasn't covered by their warranty as it is 'a slight gap'. After numerous emails back and fourth I have had no help, other than the offer of a 10 Euro store credit, from Motion to resolve the problem - simply being told I had to either fix it myself and seek some paint matching services or to buy a complete fuselage kit as the fairings do not come separately. To be expected to have to buy replacement parts that arrived sub standard isn't what I expected from Motion. I am surprised and a little disappointed with the poor customer service.”
