“Looks fantastic and easy to put together. After a successful maiden and a good second flight I noticed the rudder and rear wheel was intermittently working. On inspection at home I realised the rudder servo arm could be turn with no resistance so broken after 2 flights. Also left landing gear refused to go back up once home. Disappointed that after spending alot of money and after just 2 flights I've had to order replacement parts.Doubt I'll buy another freewing warbird”

“I’ve already done a review, I had to do another after I got it figured out. I’ve been flying it for the last 8 months or so and it’s outstanding. The power is on another level. Straight up verticals that are damn near unlimited. Speedy, nimble, floaty (in a good way), great landing gear. Touch and goes are the best on this plane. I honestly want a fleet of them. 5/5”

“This Spitfire is massive and packed with scale features as well as noteworthy design attributes. I've simply never seen a better looking, better performing RC Spitfire anywhere. We all know the trouble Spitfires can be on the ground because of their narrow landing gear stance - well FlightLine thought ahead and made the bottom of the wingtips plastic! Brilliant! The power/performance leans heavily toward scale, but can also be a bit sporty. With good throttle management, I've achieved 12 minute flights on this bird consistently (6S 5000).The plane looks absolutely stunning, has a spacious interior for all your electronics, unrivaled scale looks, flies gracefully, and won't make you dread landings. I think we've reached peak Spitfire with this one. I don't know how one could be done any better!”

“4/5 stars because: the asymmetry in the flaps due to asymmetry locations of flap’s servos on each wing. To compensate you will need a 7 channel radio so that each flap servo can be set up separately on separate channels Aux1 & Aux2. This can be done using the Admiral 6 channel with gyro receiver which actually has 7 channel.”

“At 1.6m this Spitfire has a massive physical presence. The detail is fantastic!She does take some time to build, but with this kind of plane, that was a pleasure.Set up by the book in all aspects, she flys fantastically. A pleasure to take off, fly and land. I favour low rate for scale flying.7+ minutes of flight time on a 5K pack, with a lovely climb rate.I really can not fault this bird at all. “Take it up high and kill throttle to watch how great this plane stalls. It gently rolls to inverted and enters a graceful dive, gaining back the speed to get her back under control. Haven't broken the landing gear yet dispite a couple rough landings. Looks like a real spitfire and flies like a dream.”
