“All the reviews are right this is the most stable flying warbird I have flown. First time I have had to glue the tail on a plane like that, it concerned me at first, i bought some Foam-Tac instead of using the included glue. Everything worked out fine. It will tip stall but only if you REALLY force it. Some tendency to nose down with flaps deployed, mix in some elevator. The lights and cockpit are nicely done. Flew it on an Admiral 6S 6000 mAh, 7 minutes of mixed flying and battery was still at 70 percent! Turning circle is very reasonable on the ground. All in all you can’t go wrong with this one!”

“I'm going to try to do this in as few words as possible:Lifelong fan of the Spitfire (amongst others of that era) and have studied the various marques as well as owning and flying (and sometimes bending) several small and large scale RC Spit models. The thing that gets me about them was always that for arguably the most photographed aircraft in the world the inexcusable inaccuracies in the models always seemed pointless: retracts too far apart (don't the manufacturers think we can handle the narrow track?) the huge tail plane, the too deep fuse profile and the out of scale wings. So what initially attracted me to the Flightline spit is that it actually LOOKS right. Everything about it, right down to the 'gull wing' where the wings join the fuse (the prototype trailing edge actually hangs below the fuse and dog legs up to it) and the split flaps, the retracts; everything. Its worth placing on a coffee table to just have as a talking point if you don't want to fly it. Ok, now to the serious bit: downside was that the stock model is a tad under powered. I really didn't wan't to lose that lovely four bladed prop by exchanging with a two bladed deeper pitch so I bought the Mantis ZTW esc and a programming card. By setting the timing on the esc to max with soft brake I was stunned at the difference. A 6s 5000Mah batt gave me virtually unlimited climb and bags of juice for sky high loops and perfect landings every time ( a touch of throttle slowed the decent rate perfectly). It always looked stunning and now it flies perfectly. I know its considered 'just a foamy' by the haughtier flyers I know but I love it. For me it hits that sweet spot on low passes and rolls so I find myself thoroughly enjoying watching it and enjoying it (then suddenly remembering that its me flying it!). Well done all, many thanks to all concerned.”

“Very nice product, well packed and she flies as a dream out of the box. Glue provided. The skin is quite perfect (discreet gathoring) and the paints largely above the standard. The plane is pretty solid and withstands a certain level of missed landings. If a criticism should be made, it would be about the spare part availability on the MRC site (Eu) : 22 items out of 38 are out of stock among which the most important or difficult to fix (wing, fuse, canopy, gear, pin...) : A word to the wise”
