“In my initial review, I really like this plane. It really flies great and has a great presence in the sky.However, recently the "strut pin" broke. This is the pin that attaches the main gear strut to the retract system. Because of the design to allow to rotate there is very little material holding the pin together. So the slightest of nominal landing will break the pin. However, the kicker is that you cannot buy and replace the pin. You have to buy the entire retract system. And you should assume that if you loaded up on pin the other is likely on the verge of breaking. So for a $500 plane that is heavy, you have to spend $100 to replace the pins. Other vendors sale these pins separately so not sure why Flightline doesn't. Very frustrating. Buyer beware.”

“Although I have not put this model together as of yet. However upon open the box to inspect the contents. I was met with the typical expected build quality of FMS models as I have purchased other models from this manufacturer before. The finishes is much better than EF in my opinion. The surfaces quality is much better as well. Let’s hope that there won’t be any electrical component failure once I start to put it together then. Other than that, the model is of what I normally expected to see. Definitely will buy other models from FMS and Motion RC in the future once the itch shows up again. :)”

“Overall, very pleased with this plane. She looks very great in the sky. Takes off very nice. Need to land with some speed, but be very careful with the gear. They will bend if you land too hard.I ordered a set of graphics from Callie graphics. They just are better quality and look better on the plane.I'm flying 6000 batteries and getting 7 1/2 minutes of flying at full throttle with over 25% battery left. Better throttle management will improve that.The plane seems to be built well. The only drawbacks are that I wish Motion would go to quick connections instead of having to plug the ribbon cables in every time you install the wings. And I think the gear are just a little two weak for a big plane.”

“What a great airplane! I'm an old school scale builder and wanted something quick to get into the air while I'm building something else. The Corsair arrived in perfect shape. I was extremely impressed with the quality and appearance of the model. I decided I wanted something different, so gave it a re-paint in RNZAF colours, and also did some weathering with chalk pastels and artists oils. I'm really happy with the end result. The airplane flies beautifully! Very stable. Rock solid on final and really slows down with the big flaps. The scale prop is incredible. It looks so good. There is gobs of power. Unlimited vertical is no problem, yet level flight speed is not crazy fast. It looks very scale in flight. Love it!”

“When I first got back into the hobby which I had been out of the hobby probably 25 or 30 years everything had changed I got me a tail dragger stick and started going to the local club and joined and started my flight training again I was looking at all these really cool warbirds that flight line had I knew that I had to have one I built it and had to do some fixing and stuff on it because I didn't know what I was doing with these new style decals and I had to repaint the airplane which actually worked out great I stared at it for about a year while learning to fly my tail driver stick and working my way up to PC 21 and then eventually getting into EDF Jets my first one was the free Wing l39 pretty soon su35 and mig 29 and F18 with that being said I kept looking at that F4U Corsair so I took it out to try to fly it I won't lie I had a little issue with trying to keep it straight I found out that one of the wheels had kind of seized up on the axle so I took the wheels off clean those up lubed them up went out another day and tried again and lo and behold I was off and flying once I got the trim set and made a couple of Landing approaches I started to get the feel of the plane now it's one of my favorite airplanes it flies awesome it really is a good flyer there's a little bit of a transitional learning thing as far as flying a tail dragger airplane with a big prop, on the front, and be careful with this big three blade if you fire a wallet while you're rolling out on your take off your Landing she will torque on you but once you get the feel of it it is absolutely awesome that's why I love that scale three-blade it really sets it off and the really nice retracts are awesome they did a really good job on this airplane and it's a lot of fun and for your price point it's really hard to beat this plane.now I take it to the field with me all the time it's right next to all the high performance EDF Jets I love my World War II warbirds I think I'm going to have to add the 1600 mm Spitfire so the Corsair will have a flying buddy”
