“The only reason I gave this plane three stars is because I had some landing gear issues with takeoffs. Apparently the glue that held the landing gear assembly to the foam wasn’t done properly and I had a landing gear failure, twice, on either side causing the plane to crash and break a nacelle off off each time. The plane was easily repairable, and I reglued those plastic landing gear cups back into the wings with Loctite Extreme Glue which is made for foam, plastic, metal, wood, and several other materials, which I purchased from Ace Hardware. I also upgraded the gear to shock absorbing and am really happy I did. I have eight flights on this plane now and it handles fairly well even in 22 mph winds. I mixed the flaps with elevator according to the manual and the plane does not balloon upward at all when flaps are deployed. This plane is overpowered with the four motors, and flying at half throttle I’m getting around seven minutes of flight time with two 4S 3300 batteries. The only reason I’m using the 3300’s instead of 4000 is because I already have several of those batteries I use in another plane. I really enjoy flying this plane, and the spectators love to see it fly. I’m happy with it now.”

“Hi firstly l was super impressed with the delivery came days earlier than predicted by fed ex. First impressions it is easy to see the quality is very good and the plane went together well a couple of niggles. The main spar rod is much too tight a fit. I had to sand the rod to avoid hard pushing the wings together leaving finger dents in foam. One of the elevator Servos was twitching (come on test these before sending out ) the servo was replaced without quibble very quickly. Well done customer support . I love the multiplug arrangement on wings to connect gear/flaps/ailerons/throttle with one plug. Please do something similar with motor connections it get like a power station with all them wires. Weather was awful in England so l has a play making the turrets rotate. Your left to your own devices on that a bit of help in the instruction book would be great. So how does it fly, in a word awesome follow the set up instructions to the letter and it lifts off with such scale appearance. Very easy to fly and is overpowered with the 4s set up. I fitted (just) two 4000mAh flew for 7 mins and had 70% left on landing. Oh please add a sprung front leg and include main sprung main legs in price! “This bird is beautiful out of the box. It begs to be weathered. It sips the juice and has plenty of power to get you out of trouble.8 minute flights in light winds are the norm.It’s a bomber. She likes being a bomber.Big loop: Sure! Barrel roll??? Not taking the chance Interchangeable nose and pivoting dorsal turrets are nice for Fpv cameras or cool factor. I hope the new B-25 will scale nicely for some bomber formations.Excellent model and I am very happy after 30+ flights!”

“I received this plane as a trade/payment. My grandad was a crew chief and waist gunner in a b-24 in the European front. I wanted this plane to fly and of course with the history my family has with this plane it made it all the more meaningful. The b-24 was enjoyable for me to put together. I used a 8 channel spectrum safe/as3x receiver. I used two admiral 4s 4000mah. I set it up as per the instructions with one exception. I did not follow the recommendation for position two of flaps. I originally had more flap deflection on position two and this caused the plane do dive/nose down at 45%+ throttle. Once I readjusted flap deflection to the instructed recommendation it no longer nosed down on flap position two even at wot.I have only been flying since August of 2022 and to say I was a little apprehensive to fly this beast would be an understatement. The moment of truth: it flys like a dream! It is now 3-28-2023 and I have flown it about 12 times some with multiple take off and landings around 20 landings so far with no issues. I fly only off a grass runway and it has handled the grass very well. The only time I have a prop strike is when I have not landed properly and I came in too hot or too banked. Not the planes fault at all. The wings are not flimsy contrary to other reviews. This is a solid plane and a complete joy to fly and fairly easy too. If you can successfully fly a trainer and a second plane I would say you are ready for this one. Again I have found this plane to be an awesome flyer pretty easy to land and an overall joy.”
