I was impressed with how large and easy to see this plane is. I got the silver version and ordered some 1:17 scale Callie Graphics to make it unique. I was afraid it’d be hard to see the orientation in flight, but I was pleasantly surprised. 1st flight yesterday wit 5-12 mph winds was excellent. I fly on grass and had no problem with taxiing or takeoff. Took off very quickly straight ahead, but I had to throttle back to ~1/2 because this plane has so much power. After a few clicks of up trim it flew like any of my sport planes. Rolls are very axial which was a surprise. Landed without flaps due to gusty winds. First approach had to go around at 5’ altitude when wind caught it, but full power allowed me to climb to safety without any torque roll. If you want a big beautiful warbirds that’s easy to fly you won’t go wrong with this one.Only issue I had was the Wing attachment method. It uses 4 small screws installed from underneath. These are easy to drop if you don’t use a magnetic screwdriver. I think bolts would be easier to work with and not drop in the grass. I just leave it assembled and transport it in my F-150 with the back window open.I hope they come out with a B-36 or B-29 in the near future.

I have had my B-24 for about 2 months now, with over a dozen flights on it, and it is a show stopper at my flying field. The huge size and four engines are sight to behold. It flies very well, and scale flight needs only about 50% throttle for beautiful passes. I installed servos for the nose and top gun turrets, and rotating the guns as I taxi by makes everyone’s eyes open up. it does fly very easily and landings are a cinch with the flaps and elevator trim set as recommended. I get about 8 minutes of flight on the 4,000mAh packs recommended, with plenty left over if needed. This is a great airplane!

Anyone with the slightest interest in the B-24 must get this model. The detail is amazing. With some extra detailing you can have a multitude of variants .Mine will be coming off the bench as an RCAF Liberator GR V of No 10 BR ( Bomber Reconnaissance) Sqdn . out of Summerside PEI, where I learned to fly.Photos will follow.Have to have a second one!!

I finally got to fly my B24 yesterday. This is the best hands off, out of the box flyer I have ever had. It is a blast crusing around at half throttle doing photo passes. The build and engineering is as fantastic as you would expect from FLRC.
