“I bought the B-24 to help teach me approaches and landings. I've been flying 40+ years, but the last 20 have been with large scale helicopters. I lost my landing skills bigtime and made the mistake of trying EDF's to get back in the saddle. I now have lots of spare Freewing electronics. The B-24 has a nice long wing and it looks great in the sky. Plus, like an EDF it requires power on landing so I have been able to dial in my approaches and train my brain to ride the throttle and rudder during final approach. The 8-10 minute flight times are NUTS! I get a chance to fly without freaking out about landing. All of this and it looks phenomenal in the sky.Oh, and the decals SUCK! They just peel off in flight.”

“I've build the historical B24 Liberator Blonde Bomber, a B-24 Liberator captured by Italian Army during WWII, by forcing it to land in Pachino (Sicily): the pilots thought to be on Malta, but it was a mistake, and once forced to land the plane was captured. No wounded people nor on plane crew nor on Italian soldiers. Once captured, the plane was repainted with Regia Aeronautica (Italian Royal air force in '40th), on its original desert sand allied colors, and used as testbed for spy allied bombers technology. It's unclear if the nose art pinup was deleted or not, but it's very unlike a Regia Aeronautica plane with nose art, so at the moment I had no pinup on the nose . I need to search other historical documentation on this detail.The white cross on rudders, as well as the hugr, white band on the rear fuse, had the same meaning of Allied's aircraft Invasion strips: tells to friend fighter and guns on land hey, I'm an Axis airplane, please do not shoot on me. But this does not works very good, as Italian contraerea (antiaircraft) troops recognized immediately the plane as an US Liberator and opened fire, so she suffered minor damage on the rear of fuselage. Of course the soldiers recognized it as an allied bomber, at these times all Italian bombers were three-engine only, because the Italian aeronauthical tradition from the beginnings (WW1) and until the end of ww2 relays only on three-engine and never explored 4-engine and more.I did paint paint job is on the silver edition of Freewinsgs' B24, so any mistake on my paint shows silver skin and seems to be an intentional aging, but actually they are just errors :D The historical Blonde Bomber II, a few months after captured was flown in Germany for other tests, but is gear was damaged during taxi by German pilots, very likely on purpose, to avoid the plane can return to Rome as expected. After this accident, trace of the Blonde were lost, and nobody knows about her destiny. About the kit, I have not found the main gear doors... They are missing in my kit only or they are not in any?”

“The only real complaint I have is the landing gear the plane bounces so aggressively over the tiniest bump I’ve Really good quality fantastic aircraftalready broken for propellers just from taxiing I know they have the upgraded landing gear with springs I think they should’ve came standard because it needs it”

“I actually had a last minute change of heart and swapped to the olive version. MotionRC were great, emailed them asking to swap over and they just did it without any fuss. The plane itself looks amazing if a little lighter in colour than expecting but would thoroughly recommend the plane and MotionRC”
