“This is my second Pandora 4 in 1. I had an unfortunate accident and lost the first one due to damages. I will rebuild it with the appropriate parts but for now I just purchased a new one while having fun rebuilding the first one.No matter your skill level you will love this plane.”
“Ordered the Pandora from MotionRC and it was at my door step in two days! Perfectly packaged, no dent, holes, or any damage to anything in the box. Directions were simple and easy to follow putting it into any one of the 4 configurations and even has extra parts with it too. Everything lined up for assembly perfectly and was ready to fly in the high wing/tail drag profile in less than 20 minutes. Cg balanced out perfectly with a 2200mAh battery that just slipped into it's spot in the nose under the included Velcro strap. I was even more impressed after the build with the way it flies! Nice and smooth, perfect response to inputs,.....takes off and lands like a dream, and with the flaps I installed as well (they even give you everything for that too but the servos and the Y harness) I can coast a fly by like a turtle in the air. Not too fond of the great big foam tires as they work well but look like a cartoon on it but they do work super in long grass. I did paint them black so that they look like an actual tire and that helped with the looks on it with them. The tricycle set of gear works on hard surfaces just perfectly with a nice tight turning radius. I'll be putting on the skies that Motion sells here too shortly and have some fun in the mountains of snow we have around here, a first for me doing that with any plane but I'm sure the Pandora will handle it with ease. Great plane for a beginner, and a ton of fun easy lazy flying if your more advanced. Handles wind as a no challenge too! Where else are you going to buy 4 kinds of planes for this price? If you love to fly all the time like I do, and want a plane that does every type of configuration to do that with,....this is the one for you!!!!!! You guys rock at MotionRC!”
“The Pandora is my first RC plane to put together and first plane to fly. The assembly had no unexpected surprises, the parts fit together and all components worked. My first outing with the plane was just to taxi and practice on the runway. The second outing was to fly and was actually easier on the plane than the runway practice. I am self taught but I did a lot of reading and practiced with a simulator. I am very comfortable recommending the Pandora.”
“I am new to RC planes and this plane was simple to assemble. It went together in a short amount of time and that is even adding flaps… Great product and look forward to years of flying.”
“I originally purchased this plane from BH as a Freewing BlitzRCWorks item. I saw the RC AirCommand video on this plane and I agree that this is an unbelievable plane, but I am upgrading it. In their video they mention about putting skis on it for flying off snow. I recently bought the servos to add flaps to this plane. I also purchased and installed a set of Snowbird Skis. I also just bought the light set for the DHC Beaver 2 for the wings. I may also buy the landing lights for the Swinger 90MM for the front gear. I've been flying for over 30 years and this plane is fantastic, wether as a newbie or a oldie. Now I haven't had a chance to fly it off the snow but the CG will really change and it looks great with the skis attached. If you wanted to buy only one plane for enjoyment, this would be it. You must watch the videos from RC AirCommand. Pilot Ryan and Cpt. Mike have it all right. Oh, let Mike know that I also have the PBY that he flew in a snow storm and it is also great to fly. FLY HIGH, the DAWG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“Finally able to fly it this morning. I put three Thunder Power 45c 2250mah batteries through it. It flies very well. It is a very stable and predictable aircraft. I was flying it in the high wing tail dragger configuration. This is a perfect airplane for beginners and intermediate pilots. It is even fun for the more experienced pilot. I bought this for my kids to learn on. I own an eflite Apprentice as well and this is on par and much cheaper. My only gripe would be that it seems to be a bit low on power. Mind you it flies just fine and it more than adequate as a trainer. I just found that I was flying it at about 2/3 throttle most of the time. Perhaps a different prop? It lands beautifully on grass with the big wheels and handles very well while taxiing. I will have to wait to try a different prop as this so called experienced pilot totally misjudged the distance and the Pandora is parked in the top of a very tall oak tree. Parallax can be a &%$@! Bottom line I would suggest this plane to anyone looking for a great, fairly inexpensive trainer that is capable of transforming into a light sport plane.”
