Freewing Pandora 4-in-1 Red 1400mm (55") Wingspan - PNP Reviews

4.6 Rating 139 Reviews
I bought this plane for my kids. They have assembled it under my supervision. I agree with one of the other reviews that the hardware could be better. The metal is soft and the heads are easily stripped. I replaced some of the hardware with stuff I had in the shop. The plane does go together easily and everything fits nicely. We have yet to fly it, but will add that review soon. Overall it is a nice plane and as always Motion comes through with great service, quick shipping and great packaging. The only reason I would purchase from anywhere else is if Motion doesn't carry an item I want.

Have flown 3 times - so far so good. Nice stable aircraft. Currently flying high wing - tricycle configuration. Arrived on time and in excellent condition. My only negative thoughts are - I wish manufacturers would use socket head screws - if they did would give 5 stars.

This plane is better than any plane in its category! I am an intermediate pilot and have flown a variety of trainers, war birds etc. This plane is much better for beginners than the Flyzone Sensei which I also have. It handles moderate winds and is highly visible. You can fly the Pandora as a low wing or high wing, with either a tail dragger or nose wheel set up. As you progress from a beginner, high wing set up to intermediate skill, low wing configuration you can keep the same plane. I fly the plane as a low wing tail dragger. It takes off with little effort and lands as easily on our grass runway. There were no unexpected scary moments. Very stable flight characteristics and predictable movements are experienced. The one thing you should do if going with the tail dragger set up is to get rid of those crappy oversized foam tires and replace them with some good 2 1/2 or 3 tires. There is plenty of room after removing the canopy to access the receiver or servos and make adjustments. You should put a section of white duct or plastic tape on the canopy to secure it to the fuse (of the low wing configuration) for extra security. The battery has its own 09arate compartment up front. Make sure you don't lose the set screw for the tail wheel collar. I fly with a 2200 size battery for 6 1/2 min and have about 23% left on that battery. The Pandora is a very fun plane to fly. I highly recommend this aircraft. I would buy it again.
