“The shrike went together easily, took about an hour or so. I used semi permanent lock tight on the propeller set screws as per other reviews. First flight into a 12mph breezy day was a bit too much but it flew out of my hand no problem and needed 5 clicks of up elevator trim, CG is right on so be advised. No other trim was necessary and the plane fly's well at half throttle. With full flaps down it still lands faster than I would have thought even in a good breeze.”

“Found that the upper section of rudder was bent over.Control horn on ailerons and flaps are not aligned for a straight run to servos.The connecting linkage to the ailerons and flaps are of the same length not different as video says. Have not flown yet. Just hope it performs as video shows”

“pretty decent glider I'm enjoying it I only wish there would have been some recommended settings for a beginner level glider pilot irs pretty touchy at full power but I quickly learned that its a glider and handles great while doing that the reason I gave a lower rating on the assembly was because there were a couple of wires that were mislabeled not a huge deal but made have to think lol”

“Haven’t flown it yet but all in all seems like a good glider for the price. One issue though. Rudder is loose and won’t center. Seems like the linkage that is inserted into the rudder is loose inside. Tried to fix it with Ca but no dice. Hopefully motion will read this and do better quality control. Also NO instruction manual.”

“This is my second one so I'm writhing a second review.. I've flown it about 30 flights and love the way it handles as a trainer.. it's Ok on a slope with a small battery on light days too. Pro: excellent form and fit. very cool joiner design and lots of power, and control authority in flight.. Its very easy to Split the Flap Y cable since you simply unplug at a M/F junction and plug the flap leads directly to your Rx. The wings easily fit together with no fuss at all with Ail and flap connectors. Cons:this type of foam used is very smooth, hard and brittle, it will easily scratch and crack under stress rather than compress and re-expand.. But it's good in that it makes the wings and control surfaces quite stiff.. just do NOT crash it or you'll really be sorry Its quite fragile.. :) The Prop Spinner easily comes off in flight and will need a washer inserted over the shaft after this happens or else you can't get it on tight enough to prevent this de-spin occurring as the BRAKE kicks in. You may find you have to wait weeks as I am again now for a replacement spinner.. If your rudder z rod linkage coupling starts slipping within the foam under the tail there is no way to see or get to it to tighten that linkage back up so since Martin and other RC Motion Tech Support reps have never had this happen. the best they can do is try to get you a diagram so you can figure out how to fixit , or else they just tell you to order a replacement fuse for $30.”

“For beginner to expert it is a great flyer. BUT, motion rc needs to address the spinner. Unless you use Loctite, no matter how tight you make it comes off after the esc brakes the propeller. On top of that a replacement spinner is backordered to end of May.”
