“I still love this glider but a warning. It has more power (a good thing) than the wings can handle. This is not a problem as long as you fly it like a glider. This happened on my last outing with this plane. It was windy, I dove into the wind, fast then had to dodge another plane. Two things happened, the wings flexed at least 12 to 18 inches at the tips (no damage) and I also could not pull up. The elevator was not effective at high speed into the wind. I released the throttle, slowed and the elevator worked fine and I avoided my fellow flyer. So, a word of caution, do not overpower you wing or the elevator. Fly it like a glider and you will love this plane.”

“This is the second review I am submitting for the Shrike. After a few flights with the Shrike I found the horizontal stabilizer was moving during servo operation. The horizontal stabilizer is just snapped in during assembly. It has worked its way loose during operation. I put a couple drops of CA on the front of the stabilizer and that made it solid and did not move. I would ask Skynetic to come up with a better latching system for the horizontal stabilizer.”

“I have 6 flights on this plane and I can say I am very pleased with the flight performance. It has become one of my favorite go to planes. I did have the following issues:1. The elevator needed some glue because the snap in of the assy was not tight enough.2. The receiver is difficult to position due the all of the servo leads and having to push the receiver deep into the fuselage behind the battery.3. The propeller assy flew off in the garage when testing. I had to add blue loctite which is contrary to the instructions.Note: Beware of the possibility of your battery leads rubbing against the motor.”

“The plane went together well with no issues. The first flight was great. The second flight the nose cone and prop came off. I followed directions concerning the nose cone and prop installation. I tightened it just a little more than finger tight. But apparently that isn't tight enough. I will have to go with a different spinner and prop adapter since motion is already out of the spinner and no indication when they will have it. I can't give the plane 5 stars because of the spinner issue. But other than that it is a great plane.”
