“This was an interesting project. I’m used to Horizon products and their design. So there was some learning. First this no 15 minute process. Plan on a few hours. Most of that is going to be figuring out receiver and battery configuration. I had an extra Spektrum AR637T. It barely fits under the wing. Once fastened in securely there was no room for a 2200 battery. 1300 Is even a tight fit. It takes some time to install the hardware and true up the controls too. One thing you need to do is use some clear packing tape to secure the horizontal stab. It is a simple friction fit that is pretty flimsy. The wing spar is undersized for the wing mount holes by about 3 inches. Why?Balance with a 1300 battery may be an issue. I hope to maiden this week.”

“The plane is fairly easy to put together although the tail setup is a little tricky. The plane flies so amazingly. It is stable and yet capable of doing loops, rolls and other acrobatic maneuvers. It is just plain fun to fly. I generally get 15-20 minutes of flight time on a 2200 3S battery. I love this plane.”

“I use 3S 2100, 2200, & 2700 & 4S 1300 packs. You can get 20-30 minute flights in the right conditions. Spinner works itself loose easily. A drop of thread lock solves that but the spinner nut is press-fit in the spinner. This leads to stripping the plastic of the spinner where the nut it. A hole through the spinner that you could insert an allen wrench into to torque it down would solve this. Also, the CG is easy to hit with some batteries and not others due to the tight space in the fuselage. The wooden deck the battery sits on could be shorter making getting the receiver further back to allow for the longer batteries that are very common in this hobby. The spinner issue is obviously a problem since it seems to always be sold out. BTW don't use my marking for 2200 packs as it is too nose heavy.”

“It is sad there are some manufacture faults that were highlighted in reviews 1 year plus ago, these really should have been seen by the quality control ( control horns - propeller coming off when throttle braked and brittle clevises. My models horns have been replaced-propeller seems to stay inplace with the use of a star washer and the clevises replaced with nylon and 2mm rods. Not flown as yet until weather allows, reviews on model performance looks positive.”

“Sometimes you just want to relax and drift around, and this is a great plane for that. You have full ailerons and flaps, so you can do all sorts of configurations in your radio. Quick wing attachment facilities are about the best I have seen to date; you just insert the wings which have embedded plugs for the electronics, then insert a locking rod, and you're done. Takes all of 30 seconds and no tools required.You may want to play with the rates and throws; the factory setup is very mild.My only complaint is one you see in several reviews: the spinner, which holds the prop on, has normal threads and the ESC is programmed with a motor break to (I assume) assist in folding back the prop when power is cut. The problems is, this has a tendency to loosen the spinner which then flies off in some field never to be found. So crank the replacement spinner on tight ;) and check it before each flight.Oh yeah, the horiz stab is a pita to attach. Other than these minor gripes, I love it!”
