“This is my second Shrike. I crashed the first over a year ago and have been waiting for them to be back in stock. A very docile airplane and a good glider. I find it glides much better than say a Walrus and will actually soar in a thermal. On my first Shrike, I did have problems with the prop coming off. Since then I use a collet at and carbon folding prop. Because the back of the propshaft is exposed in the battery compartment, irt is necessary to be very careful with the placement of the battery wires or make your own little bulkhead to protect them. It is a great airplane and a bargain at the price.”

“firstly the aileron horns are out of alignment with the servo horns not a good start, the wing cables where labelled incorrectly, two of the snap links where cracked so unable to use them , I gave up on the prop spinner I always bench test my props after balancing and the results were not good after several tests and noting the spinner had come loose I opted for a collet style spinner job done . I was having trouble balancing the wing laterally then I realized the wing tube was only 58cm but the holes are 70cm in total so I have purchased a new wing joiner tube and now the wings balance perfectly and with no excessive flexing . Ive been flying rc planes for 33 years and although these points dont seem much when they are done properly they make a much better flying experience ,”
