“I had owned and flown this Shrike glider. Compared with other similar gliders, like Conscendo from Eflit, this one does have done better in one aspect. It is heavier! Conscendo is too light and can be affected by wind too much.However, the Shrike has its own share of problems:1. prop assembly is poorly designed, very hard to service. Very hard to disassemble. I usually had to use a rotating cutting tool to cut open the prop hub. The hub simply has no any place on it you can apply force to turn loose it. It is a small cone, a smooth cone.2. the prop can fly off..MotionRc, you can design a better prop hub, better locking mechanism.3. the battrey bay is too small, and the outrunner is just at the front edge of the battery bay. If you aren't careful that one wire touches the motor shell, the rotating outrunner shell may quickly wear it and cut it off.Please put a simple firewall behind he motor.4. the mechanism of holding the wings to the fuselage, is anything but solid. After several rough landing, you will find your wings are loose. Please use some simple screws and holes to fix it.”

“I gave the Shrike a try because the size was perfect and it looks great too. I was thrilled at how well it flew. I have a few motor gliders and now the Shrike is my go to. They suggest a 3 cell 2200 and it fly's well with one but much better with a 3 cell 1300. I did not receive any instructions in my plane but the guys at Motion R.C. sent me the link to the instructions and they are clear and easy. I will be buying more planes from Motion R.C.Bob”

“The plane flys well and needs minimal trimming. The worst part was fitting the RX into the small space. The Battery/RX tray has slots in it that make placement of the RX behind the battery area very small. I added some small ply to the existing wood to make the RX fit. This is the only issue I had or I would rate the plane a 5 STAR.”
