“I used this board tonight for the first time portioning a large slice of halibut with my Toyama Gyuto and it felt great. I feel like I don't need to worry about the sharp edge on the knife and the fish portions were easily accomplished without any marks on the board. The board is lightweight and super easy to handle and was easy to clean. I have several boards from end grain maple to bamboo and edge grain maple and by far this is the easiest to use slicing portions.”

“I really like that I can pick this up and move it around the kitchen easily. It's very light, especially when compared to a comparable sized hi-soft board. The board has a good texture and seems to be easy on knife edges. After nearly a month of use, I don't see any knife gouges. There is some discoloration from certain foods, but I knew before buying and don't mind.”
