Hi Steve, Thanks for your feedback. The Vietnam war service ribbon decal is an optional add-on for the dogtags and is not applied by default, only if you select the pre-assembly option.

Hi Phyllis, Thanks for your feedback. Although most people can easily connect the chains, the ballchain connectors can sometimes be tricky to snap together, especially if you have arthritis. For this reason we offer a pre-assembly add-on service on our website. Here is an assembly instruction video that offers some advice: https://www.mydogtag.com/instructions.php. Perhaps you can ask a friend or family member to assist you.
