“Since I have it yet seen the knife or the repair, I actually cannot comment on the quality. I received a lovely set of knives and knife block as a gift about 10 years ago, which I sent back to New West Knives for sharpening a few times and the service was excellent. I recently moved to Madrid, Spain and one of the few things I brought with me was my knives. In September I came back to visit family in the US and brought the knives with me to mail to NWK for sharpening and a minor repair. The repair to the handle was made with resin which had already pulled away by the time it was returned to me. I was on my way back to Spain but decided to send the one knife back to fix again, knowing I would not see it until Next summer. It was returned to my daughter’s address after repair. And there it sits … through the holidays, the snow, the cold. But I trust the repair was fixed properly because New West Knives does excellent job and their knives are a work of art. I do not hesitate to recommend them.”
