“I have had multiple pairs of OluKai shoes and have always loved them for being both comfortable and stylish. They discontinued the model of dressier shoes I bought previously (three straight pairs) and which were extremely comfortable. Shortly after wearing these, I began to experience foot pain and compartment syndrome in my lower calves. I stopped wearing them, and the problems abated. I started wearing them again, and the pain resumed. The sole is different on this model--I don't know if that's the issue or if it is the insole that causes there to be less support. But it has taken my favorite shoe and shoe company and changed my feelings.”
