I got a new pair of Kulana shoes and got some spots on them. I made the mistake of using Kiwi Saddle Soap on the shoe to remove the spots and instead of removing the spots, it removed the leather stain. I contacted Olukai and they said they were sorry but I should have read the label on the saddle soap before using it on their leather. Don't want anyone else to make the same mistake. I have never had the leather dye fade after using that saddle soap.

These are, hands down, the most comfortable shoes I own. I have several pairs of Olukais, and wanted something dressier for work. These are perfect in fit and I think true to size (I do have a very wide foot). I have not experienced the heel slip issues others have reported. My only complaint is that after two wears, the leather near the heel is already scuffed and the shoe is damaged due to the sole and rubber of the shoe not extending far enough or high enough to protect the leather. This is disappointing for an otherwise great shoe, and seems like something that could be remedied fairly easily. Thanks Olukai, for making great, island themed footwear.

I purchased these after bothering a salesperson for about an hour. People have noted in other reviews that these do not fit well, however mine are great! I would suggest fitting these in store as I purchased a half-size smaller than I’m used to. I love the feel, I’ve worn docksiders in the past but they gave me blisters, these feel like a dream with no socks. Great quality.

I have 5 or 6 pairs of leather OluKai shoes and have recommended them to many people, they are all I wear. These are beautiful and the style is perfect for business and casual. They are my favorite pair of shoes...BUT...the heel and sides of the sole started to wear through in the first month. Very poor design on the sole. If they fixed the sole design, this show would be worth the $150 price and a home-run.

My husband wears a size 14/15 and he had bought several slip on pairs of OluKais, but he needed something nicer for work. He bought these and wears them EVERY day. So much so that it’s already time for another pair! If you have a large wide foot and finding a driving loafer seems impossible, these are for you. The leather on them is comfortable, soft, the real deal. He wears them with and without socks for work. Can’t say enough about OluKai shoes, and so thankful they come in larger sizes!

As others have noted, the sole is unusually narrow relative to the body of the shoe. This is causing wear on the edges of the shoe leather that extend beyond the sole.

I always bought the Akepa Mocs but it appears they have discontinued them as the sizes available are extremely limited. These, as stated in another review are way too wide in the heel. Length is fine, but they have horrible heel slip. Not a good shoe for me. Had to return them.
