“I've always had trouble finding a shoe that didn't add to my knee and lower back pain...My feet are pretty much flat. I bought these shoes and wore them the entire school year. (I'm a teacher). I took them with me on vacation over the summer thinking that at the end of the summer I would reorder a new pair for the new school year. For five weeks I wore these shoes all over Senegal (west Africa) in dirt/mud roads.Then I wore them to (mildly) hike up and down the coast of Portugal. All of this while recovering from a sprained ankle. They were the only shoes I packed for six weeks and I never once had foot/knee/ankle/back pain, and I did A LOT of walking. The best part is, they are still in GREAT shape, and I don't need to buy a new pair for the upcoming school year. Thank you, thank you Olukai!!”
“My problem in finding any good shoe is that I'm a 6 heels/6.5 in athletic shoes WIDE, but they're either too narrow, and brands that carry wide are generally ugly. I own a pair of birkenstocks which support the arch...but I'm still trying to figure out how people find them to be comfy for lengthy times. I took a dive with these having never owned a pair of Olukai and I am beyond happy with these sandals!!! They match almost anything in regards to either "going out" or "bumming around." I wear these all day, just walking around and running errands, especially this current summer. Definitely worth the splurge.”
