“I really loved these shoes, but the left shoe’s heel slipped badly. I bought some “heel cups”, but they did not correct the problem - that’s the solution that was suggested to me from olukai. I had to send the shoes back. I love all my other olukais!., and I was very disappointed that purcasing heel cups was the only possible solution.”
“This teacher needed some support in her slip-on sneaks. I love these! Perfect arch... and cushy, but not too cushy footbed. I already ordered slippers! If you need a little “extra” to keep your feet happy, these are for you!”
“I would say these are near perfection except it could have a bit more arch support and cushion. I can feel a little pressure on the side of my right foot. The construction is really great though, and the wool footbed is a great idea. It really allows your feet to breathe and it is soft, not scratchy. I can tell that quality materials were used to make this shoe.”
“These shoes are the most comfortable I’ve worn EVER. Soft and warm, but low-key and stylish in appearance. Please keep making these because I’ll buy them every season...and make a men’s version as well. I am usually a 9.5 and bought a 9. I do not pronate though my arches have fallen a bit as I’ve gotten older, and these few plenty supportive.”
“the top is too tight and the height of the heel backing is not tall enough for MY foot ---- the same for the other pair I purchased - i have a bone that I was born on both feet that pokes out like a sharp tall teepee point that i've had doctors even ask if it hurts because it isn't usually something that projects itself so obviously. Sorry, i can't remember the name of the bone, but it is where all the long bones to the toes meet just above where a foot with an arch is on the bottom. weird. i wish all of your covered shoes allowed for more flex for these types (my right foot had to be reattached also with a plate and EVERY SINGLE bone was broken - nothing other than secured reattachment done for my foot/ankle/leg. the rest of the foot healed but in defunct and being almost a half to whole size larger - which making a size 10 normally even harder to find in a size that may be WIDE (which helps a lot when not possible to find larger shoe sizes in half sizes or larger than 10). that wide really makes a different for MY foot - but again, i am only speaking of MY experience. i gave my Pehuea Heu - Lava Rock shoes to my BFF that they felt amazingly comfortable to wear and fell in love with while visiting her (2hr impromptu visit) - I drove back home barefoot.
I love the shoes produced by OluKai and ( I have 2 flip flop. sandals - one pair was stolen while on vacation in Mexico 7/4/2019 - but i love the craftsmanship and the quality of the products. unfortunately this particular shoe hurts my foot. the other bedroom shoes i have when I ordered this pair has the same issue - the upper lip it too snug where my bone on the top protrudes, causing much discomfort. but i love OluKai! i think maybe if i had ordered size 11, it may have been a little bit more loose, but then probably the shoe would be too big and fall off --- i don't know, but i think a 10.5W is what i have to shop for now for comfort - warm comfort in the house for this cold winter coming. Just not sure WHERE from to purchase, but i'l.l be watching and praying that yall will come up with a perfect fit! at least my BFF got a great surprise (they hurt me too much to drive back home wearing, so i gave them to her - luckily she has a normal size 10 ft)
thanks,

“I wear an 8.5 but can fit a 9 in the regular slip ons. Be warned if you size up the fur is so smooth it makes your foot come out. I def can’t size down so I’m out of luck and VERY sad bc this is an amazing shoe. It even has arch support!”
