“I have been so thankful for my Ororo vest. I spoke to a friend who is an operator of a Chick Fil A who buys vests for his team members…they work outside in WI. He told me Ororo is the best he found. So I decided to ask for one for Christmas last year. It is one of the best gifts I’ve been given. I live in WI where it can be chilly from September through May. I used the vest last winter for snow skiing, winter parades, and just being outdoors. But one of my favorite uses is for soccer games. This has truly been a game changer. I went from being miserable - tense and sore in my shoulders and neck from shivering during cold games- to enjoying cheering my kids on to score their next goal! The pockets even help with my Reynauds in my hands. My friends are jealous! I’ve told them they need to buy an Ororo vest and some plan to! My next favorite use is when my arthritis (Ankylosing spondylitis) flares up. I used to microwave rice bags and try to sit in a way that kept the bags where I needed them most, but then I couldn’t move without them falling. Now I can walk around or sit with my vest heating the inflamed areas of my back and neck. This makes a huge difference in reducing stiffness and soreness. My Ororo vest has really changed my life…it has allowed to me to enjoy the outdoors in the cold weather again and reduce my stiffness so I can move with less pain. Thank you! “This open box heated vest is a fantastic deal for a new heated vest that works extremely well and is basically new! I kept the vest on the lowest heating level while riding motorcycle with temp in the 50s and 60s and stayed cozy! Using the hotter heat levels was actually too warm! I love this vest!!”
“This product is phenomenal! Keeps me warm outdoors while riding horses in the cold New England winters and indoors when you just need to take the chill off and don't want to turn up the house thermostat. Materials, style and wearability are perfect. You would never know the batter pack is in the vest as it sits nicely on the left side just at your hip. Has never interfered with my position or saddle. Battery charges up quickly and holds it's charge for several wears. The heating element heats up the chest and neck within seconds of turning the power on high at which point you can toggle between the other two settings if you get too warm. Quick push of a button on the battery pack shows you when the battery is running low and needs to be recharged. Easy to wipe down with a damp cloth or safe to throw in the wash machine following manufacturer's instructions. Vest sparks a lot of curiosity when it's on as people or even your 86 y.o. dad can't resist asking you, "What is that light on your vest for?" As soon as I explained the technology and had my 83 y.o. mom try it on, she decided she'd take a medium size black and it would be the perfect gift for Mother's Day!
