“When I unboxed the Homesoap - Large UV-C Light Sanitizer, I noticed a rattling sound within. When I open the door of the device, a piece of broken glass was inside, which I can only assume is part of the UV light.
I immediately contacted customer service on November 15 and received a reply on November 17 with a link to submit a refund or exchange request. I followed the process, sent in a photo and a brief description of the problem, and received an e-mail confirmation that my request was received.
On Friday, November 21, I received an e-mail from Phonesoap accepting my request for an exchange with instructions on how to return the original defective item.
On Monday, November 24, as I was driving to the local FedEx office to return the item, I received an e-mail from PhoneSoap that my request is now denied with the following explanation: "Your return has been denied, according to the store’s Return Policy. This has been rejected because: No reason provided."
BTW, per the purchase, the seller's website stated a Free Phonesoap Basic will be included with the purchase of Homesoap Large UV, which I never received.
I have to say, this is one of the worst purchase experiences...maybe ever?!”

“Makes a terrible racket every time it runs. It's so annoying you don't want to be in the same part of the house when it's running. Otherwise the product seems to work. It's a large capacity unit that can clean most things thoroughly.”

“We purchased an original item (black) during the COVID pandemic and was impressed by its ability to sanitize (based on reviews, and published lab experimentation results). We also learned the hard way, that UV light tubes need a consistent power current to avoid spikes, which can lead to burned out bulbs. But the staff at PhoneSoap were happy to work with us and once we were able to use a proper wall socket location in our house it gave us several years worth of sanitizing results. We recently purchased a newer white version (just to be different!) and it has worked well.”

“After 5th use less than a month after opening it, we're getting RED error Lights, even if the door has been closed properly after retrieving our devices from it. My smaller older phone soap never had this issue and was built well. For how much it costs I'm quite disappointed that we're troubleshooting issues within the first month of use.”
