“The phone soap pro doesn't seem as well-made as the regular model. I appreciate the ease of mind knowing that the mirror finish is reflecting light everywhere and that the Pro had an extra set of bulbs, but light does leak from the edges of the lid. It seems like the plastic used for the mirror finish wasn't manufactured or secured to the outer lid correctly so that there are gaps. I usually cover the unit with a thin cloth to prevent any unwanted exposure to the light. Another complaint I have is that the lid rests on the power cable when the lid is open and this eventually causes the USB-C plug to bend in the port. I also wish the PhoneSoaps came with a testing card or some way to verify that the UV-C lamps are working. The light on top is simply a regular LED.
Overall, the PhoneSoap makes cleaning my phone super easy. The faults I have are in the user experience and in the quality of the device.”
