“I expected this to be an excellent product based on the website, touting of high quality. Despite it being very expensive, much more than 2 others that I bought on Amazon, which I got much faster by the way and far less. For the price you could get 2 or 3 of these devices.
Pro: it's a UV sanitizer
-you can charge your phone while it's disinfecting
-it illuminates when turned on so you know when it's sanitizing
CONS:
-design is so flush that it is EXTREMELY HARD TO OPEN and pisses me off every time I try to open it, to where I end up just using my other two instead. There is no ‘lip' where it opens so I have to pick up the whole device and use my finger nails as a wedge to open it. AND the entire thing is super smooth, nothing grippy so you are required to pick up the whole device to use it. This is stupid during COVID, as I have to use both hands, which defeats the purpose. If I walk in the house the first thing I want to do is sanitize my phone and wash my hands. So if I place my phone in there first, which I often do, I'm getting two hands worth of germs instead of only one. Pretty thoughtless.
-the touch sensitive power button is on top and way too sensitive. I've placed my phone on top of this numerous times and it beeps, turning on when I don't want to charge, I merely want to place my phone on it. Why not make it an actual button, or recessed, or on the side so things can sit on it?
-I don't know when it's actually on or just beeping for no reason. My other UV device announces when It starts and completes, with phonesoap had this
I wouldn't recommend buying this until these fixes are made. The way it was promoted, they made it sound like EVERYTHING was considered in this iteration, design, use, etc but no. Even something as basic as open it up is surpassed by less expensive ones. Not worth it for the high $$$ ticket.”

“This is a great product and given the current situation a must have to reduce bacterial and viral loads. I also use mine to sanitize my non medical reusable cloth masks. My only issue with it is opening the case! Because there is no groove or indentation and the top panel is flush with the bottom you really need two hands and a good grip to open it.”
“Like the fact I can sanitize phone and other small object that I used in my purse. I had the older model and upgraded. The only thing I don't like is that the new version is much harder to open, stronger magnet perhaps, and it takes two hands to hold the unit and open. The older version I could pop open with one hand without having to pick it up. Considering going back to older version.”
“I love my PhoneSoap. I originally purchased two of them. I gave one to my niece & her family. We not only use it for the normal stuff but it is also used for our face masks. I is so easy o us that my 7 year old grandniece uses it tall by herself. She cleans her IPod & her face mask every time she uses them. Love the product.”
