“As with anything like this, it is hard to tell if it is actually killing germs or viruses, but we use it on our iPhones, eyeglasses, and face masks and haven't contracted anything since using it. Easy to use, but easy to forget something is in it as there is no alarm when the 5 minutes is up. Feels solid and well built.”

“Happy with my purchase and "trust " that the tech works to eliminate what we can't see, however I have three design complaints.
1) the top and bottom clamshell together perfectly and that's the issue when you don't add a handle to the top or include an indentation in the top so a finger can get between the top/bottom and "easily " pry open/lift the top. Half the time, I have to either slide a fingernail in to help separate OR grab the whole unite with one hand on bottom and one on top to get enough "grip " to open. Super frustrating and a clear design oversight as it should be much easier to open and shouldn't require two hands.
2) Don't like fact that the lights cleaning cycle begins every time you open/close the unit. Great feature when you add a phone/other inside and it is automatic, Not so great when you remove the contents and close it only to see the lights are on for the next cleaning cycle with nothing inside - lamp waist! Technically, you run this unit twice for every single phone cleaning - that's a waist!
3) The power word is entirely too short which limits where you place it in the home because of receptacle distance and a cord that won't reach. Cord long coming out of the small transformer-plug is 37 ". Great if you place it on a counter near a counter receptacle, but NOT great if you place it on taller furniture - you'll need an extension cord to reach a power strip on the floor directly below it because 37 " cord length is entirely too short!”
“In these days of being health and safety conscious, PHONE SOAP is an ideal addition to our home. The science is sound & it is easy to use; just close the lid & wait until the lightning bolt is no longer lit.
We personally keep our PHONE SOAP plugged into a convenient place and place our phones, keys and other small objects into it when returning home.
