“I have been using the Phone Soap fairly regularly and it works as far as the light coming on when in use and off when items inserted are supposedly clean. But I really have no clue if it is working or not. Also, I had to pre-order and wait several weeks for it to arrive, which I understood. But I did not understand that I would be charged up front rather than when shipped. For those reasons I'm only giving 3 stars.”
“When I come home the first thing I want to do is to put my phone into the device. But the lid is so difficult to open. There is no type of handle or notch that will allow me to flip it open with a fingernail or a key, so I end up using both hands to grasp the entire machine to get it open. But of course I don't want to touch the exterior with my unwashed hands and then have to wipe down the machine. So I end up laying my phone on a paper towel, washing my hands and then putting it in the device. It's also very difficult to tell whether it's on or not. The light is barely visible during the day. And finally, it's so shallow that I can barely get my keys to lay in just the right way in order to close the lid.”
“I have an iPhone 11 and use a protective case and also have a PopSocket on the back. This makes my phone too large to use the PhoneSoap with my case on. So when I want to use it, I have to take it out of its case. While it is being sanitized I do end up cleaning my case with Isopropyl Alcohol and a microfiber cloth. I'd like to see a thicker model in the future and I could also use it for my AirPods.”
“Never owned anything like this but feel much better sanitizing certain items possibly exposed to COVID-19. The PhoneSoap3 is very easy and quick to use. Plus it looks extremely nice sitting in the front entrance foyer.”
