I'm sure it is killing the germs as we know UV light does. It takes two hands to open it. One to Hold the bottom half down, and one to open the upper lid. Needs an indentation somewhere to pry it open with one hand. I wish the phone bed were a bit deeper so my watch and band would fit in.

The PhoneSoap 3 is so easy to use and I hardly notice that 10 minutes have passed. The light feature for on and off is great. Thank you for a wonderful needed phone cleaner.

I purchased a phonesoap 3 and two phonesoap pros for my home and office. One of the phonesoap pros was malfunctioning right from the start. The sanitizing cycle wouldn't shut off causing the unit to overheat. While I was sent a new unit (arriving tomorrow) it was a refurbished unit. I feel I should have been sent a new unit as that is what I paid for, and the unit was defective from the start. Thus the one star deduction. I haven't had any issues with the other units, and while I haven't done a petri dish test, they seem to operate just fine.

We love our PhoneSoap and the peace of mind it gives us. Just one thing though.....you can't close it when it's empty without having it run a cycle. This seems pretty wasteful to me, both of electricity and the bulbs. Wish you could turn it off and on. Otherwise, it's great!

Please be careful. I hope the UV-C light is not visible or on when the lid is open. UV-C is very damaging to the eyes and the skin. Don't look through the hole on the end where the cord would come out. Can anyone verify if when you don' t have a cord plugged in, does light come out through the port? If so, it can be extremely dangerous. Also understand that the UV-C light DOES NOT kill viruses, including COVID19. I understand there is a safer far-UVC light in development that may be safer for eyes and skin but I don't think it is out on the market yet. Hope this helps! Brian Hauser, MD
