The case is quite slippery. I find that a notch for a finger or thumb would make raising the lid easier. A number of competing devices offer more cleaning volume and a notch to help lift the lid. Some also offer 5 minute time cycle for full clean.”
“Overall this seems to be a good, well made product. However after using it I have found it is a tricky to easily open. I would recommend a little tab or nub on the top half to put your thumb or finger under to make it easier to open. Also there is no on/off button on this so once you are done cleaning your phone, you take it out and shut the clamshell and it immediately turns on and starts a new cleaning session even though there is nothing in there to clean. You can't shut the door without it starting the cleaning light session again. That seems wasteful and extra wear on the bulbs.”
