“Bought to replace an older failed model from the same brand. This one came with a regular wall plug. The old one had access to wire a wall plug or hard wire it directly. It took a lot of work to remove the wall cord from this one so u could wire it to the switch. Very simple to just include a detached cord for those who need it and allow access to wiring for those who don't. It does have an access panel, but good luck getting the cord grommet out, and you will have to cut wires”

“Easy replacement because of InSinkErator fitting already installed in sink. Old one seized up in basket, but motor still tries to turn. Twenty years of use and abuse, with luck this will last, too. Came with pre-installed power cord, sink drain fitting, new pipe gasket and hardware. DON'T FORGET THE KNOCKOUT PLUG, if you're attaching a dishwasher drain hose.”
