“Easy replacement because of InSinkErator fitting already installed in sink. Old one seized up in basket, but motor still tries to turn. Twenty years of use and abuse, with luck this will last, too. Came with pre-installed power cord, sink drain fitting, new pipe gasket and hardware. DON'T FORGET THE KNOCKOUT PLUG, if you're attaching a dishwasher drain hose.”
“Very easy to install especially if your current "sink trim ring" is in presentable condition. My trim ring was okay but its rubber skirt was a mess. Good news is that a new skirt is provided with the unit and it does not requite removal of the trim ring to install the new one.I wish it was a little quieter. My sink is composite (inherently quieter) so I expected a little better. A stainless sink will likely be a bit noisier yet. Just a comment. Doesn't invalidate the overall goodness of the unit.”
