“Bought this as a replacement for my 1997 Zoeller backup pump and was pleasantly surprised at what I received. The picture is wrong ... The charger is not the old beast but a much smaller unit with a front panel display and ablility to connect to hardware that enables texting you if you have a sump problem. Additionally the assembly for the actual pump was much easier to install than the older unit ... All in all, a great upgrade with Zoeller's excellent dependability. When your dealing with a sump pump ... Don't fool around, get a Zoeller”
“peace of mind!...enough said....but I guess i need 20 words 2 write a review... I've lost power b4 during a storm ...no power 2 run sub pump + Rain = BAD..love it. I can sleep through the night not worrying if i lose power am i gonna wake up with water in my basement. If i lose power battery back pump kicks on and alarm sounds.”
“Just installed this last night. Easy to install and works great during the initial test. Could not find anyone else who could beat this price as well.”
“Fast shipping. Great service from Plumbing Planet. One small problem was quickly resolved by the Customer Service department. Backup pump installs easily if you follow the directions. Time will tell, but the Zoeller pump appears to be a great solution for a backup system. I will look to Plumbing Planet for future plumbing needs.”
“Got it today. Just installed. So far its pretty great. Instructions were good enough. What I didnt know i figured out. I know its set up right and i know it works, but I have yet to have that one big test....massive Rainfall and power outage or primary pump failure. I bought this pump and a high quality marine battery so it ran me around $550 in addition to my Zoeller primary pump that is 3 years old. I had a pump fail a few years ago due to A sticky float switch and it cost me thousands to un **** my finished, carpeted basement. If you have finished basement space, you absolutely have to have a trustworthy backup system like this. Zoeller is widely respected and trusted. Ask any plumber. I highly recommend. If I had one complaint I wish it was a more compact design because by the time you get it parked right on top of a primary pump you are really close to the drain tile inlets for the sump bucket. The range of motion for the on/off switch on this pump is very short and the shut off point is well within the bucket inlet zone. I have a feeling that by the time it kicks in its gonna run continually and I kind of worry about it's ability to keep up in really heavy rain situations.”
