16" x 25" Air Filter for Whole-House Air Purifier Models. Reviews

4.1 Rating 414 Reviews
This is a great deal for 8 filters that will last me 16 months. I change the filters out every 2 months, they don't last as long as the quoted 6-12 months; I wish it did. You have to line everything up correctly in order for the filter to be effective. It can be a pain sometimes, but it can be done. I will probably purchase again unless i decide to swap out my spacegard.

It works great. I change 1xper year and have no pets and it works fine. But they are so costly. They say change every few months!$!$!$!

I have found a consistency in this product from plumbingsupplyandmore. This price is high for an AC filter but unless I change my unit I’m stuck with buying these!

I have two A/C units each in separate areas of the attic. Each requires one media filter. The required filter is delivered in a 5 inch x 4 inch x approximately 27 inches long box. Itmust be extracted from the box then expanded almost the shape of a accordion. It is difficult to install due to holding filter open to slide bottom and top at the same time. Often very frustrating.

Price the factory models and then compare to these. Looks exactly like the factory version and a LOT less expensive. Purchased 2 (switch out every 6 months) and saved a ton of money. After the first year, I bought 2 more. P.S. If you are on a annual contract for maintenance with your local AC the cost for swapping out these units is super high. I would have the coolant checked every other year and forget the annual contract.

I've been buying these OEM filters for my whole-house air cleaner since it was installed in 2017, and they work very well. But WOW, the prices got jacked since the last time I bought them last year. Ouch. Might be time to try aftermarket.
