“Unit was light and smaller than my last one which was great to give me more room under my sink. It was also quieter.Installation was pretty straightforward, good instructions. So far I am pleased but it’s only been a few weeks. The company should ask me how it’s going after 12 months.”

“Replaced a 15 year-old Insinkerator with this Moen. I like the smaller diameter and the quieter motor. However, It doesn't evacuate the sink nearly as fast as the Insinkerator did. That is the only disappointment.”

“I discovered the 12 yr old Badger I had developed a crack (see picture)!!! This was the 2nd Moen I purchased and it was a great deal. Just follow the instructions, and it's easy to install. The only challenge is trying to get the ring put on the drain.The tools I used were:1) flat head screwdriver2) a phillips screwdriver3) plumber's putty4)HINT- if you still have that wrench from your old disposal, keep it as it helps in tightening the new Moen”

“Needed to replace our GE 1/2 hp disposal, and the combination of strong reviews and a great price led me to this unit. The installation was a snap. I found that the installation video that Moen provided for the disposal was well-done and easy to follow. After reading reviews that the snap ring was tough to get on with just two hands, I was ready with an assistant to hold up the disposal while I stretched the snap ring into place. I probably could have just propped up the disposal on something and it would have been just as easy. It's also nice that it comes with the power cord pre-installed. It works like a charm; we've had no problems with it. It's not a high-powered unit that'll powderize bones and other hard items, but for our typical needs, it's ideal. It's not any noisier than any other unit we've ever had; probably a bit quieter. Overall, very pleased.”

“Replaced my 1/3 HP MOEN Garbage Disposal with this 1/2 HP. It’s quiet and efficient (It probably helped that I installed it using rubber gasket rather than plumber’s putty).COMPLAINT - THEY RUST PREMATURELY!My one complaint about these MOEN products is how easily they tend to rust - this the third one in four plus years. Two suffered from rust, with the last one suffering from outright motor failure. Thus, I bought the extended warranty to cover future, untimely failures. We’ll see how it works.”

“Its loud, but that's to be expected with a cheaper unit. Overall, its a great value for the money. I'm not a fan of the drain guard that goes on the sink. I feel like the ones that come with other brands are more rubbery and do a better job keeping occasional little sprinkles of water from flying out.”
