Flush Valve Assembly for One-Piece American Standard Toilet Reviews

4.7 Rating 72 Reviews
The old flushing contraption was just awful. It was falling apart. Replaced with this part and was glad I didn't decide to replace the entire toilet. Works well. Installation is straightforward. You may need to pry a bit to get the old part released. There’s a gasket that must be discarded. Enjoying satisfying flushes. I even held a ceremonial throwing out of the old part.

Toilet was running constantly. American Standard wouldn’t acknowledge or replace the defective part. Found this replacement and now everything works perfectly. Saved tons on the water bill. Shame on American Standard for ignoring the problem, but this part solved everything.

Champion 4 one-piece only. Remove 4 screws, twist off old unit stuck by sealant. Don't touch inner screws—they hold the base. Scrape old sealant.

Easily installed. Quality product. I heard these were sometimes provided under warranty, but I was happy to pay. A simpler, better design than the original disaster.

Arrived on time, even came with replacement screws. Installed easily and stopped the leak. Couldn't find this piece in stores, only online. Thank you.

The flapper on my Champion 4 broke after 10 years. Only needed the shaft, but had to buy the whole part. Used just the flapper and shaft—worked perfectly.

Replaced the old flush mechanism easily, but instructions were poor quality—looked like a photocopy of a photocopy. Confusing for a novice.
