I would suggest some adults only weeks. There were some children running up and down the walkways with no regard for anyone else. Neither parents nor staff asked them to be more quiet. They sat together at meals, which was fine, but they were extremely loud, which was unpleasant for anyone trying to have a conversation. After dinner they took over the bar area playing games and again were so loud there was no point to staying because conversation was not possible. If parents don’t correct children I hope the staff would for the benefit of all

Hi Eileen, Thank you for your detailed feedback, we do appreciate the suggestions. As leaders in the eco-travel space, it's very important to us to welcome everyone with open arms, no matter the size of the group or how many children come along for the adventure. You traveled during the summer months, which is peak season for family travel to Galapagos, and not just for Quasar, but for all cruise companies. All Summer departures have numerous kids on board, regardless of who you cruise with. This also applies for all the weeks that coincide with school holidays in North America. For guests who wish to avoid traveling with families and children to the Galapagos, we recommend visiting the Islands during the months of September and October. Because children in North America have just returned to school, these are the two months of the year where historically we generally only host adults on our cruises. Finally, we do apologize if our crew and hospitality staff did not do enough to keep the kids quiet all the time. With young kids this can often be a challenging task, but we have passed on all your comments to our onboard staff so that they can be more attentive on future departures with children. Again, we really appreciate you taking the time to review your trip with Quasar! As always, we welcome you, or anyone reading this review, to contact us at customerservice@quasarex.com if there are any further comments or questions. Our best, ~ The Quasar Customer Service Team

Best run yacht and the crew were AMAZING! Felt like we were leaving family when our trip was over. Every detail on board was done with elegance. The excursions with our guides were amazing and so detailed with all the islands and animals found on each island. Vacation of a lifetime!

The Evolution is a converted former fishing boat. When you see it in the water, it doesn't have the post-modern look of the all-white catamarans of some operators, but the outdoor deck relaxation and dining options are well above those other vessels. So important to have fresh air, in sun or shade, as you desire. Cabins are comfortable, modern and well-appointed. The staff just pampered us beyond our imagination.
