“Ratio is a rare company who not only listens to customer feedback, but the acts on it. I've had the Six for about 4 years now, it's my daily driver for the morning fix. I, like many of you, loved the look and loved the coffee but hated the lid and carafe. It leaked, it dripped and it was hard to clean. About a week ago I received an email from Ratio informing me that they had improved the carafe/lid design and they offered me the opportunity to purchase it at a discounted price with free shipping. Well, it arrived yesterday and all I can say is wow! Looks Great? Check! Still compatible with my machine and filter basket/heat shield? Check! Keeps Coffee Hot? Check - 2.5 hours and still reasonably hot! Drips? Nope!!!! Pours perfectly with no buttons to push. I'm very happy that now I have the perfect coffee maker. To all of you disappointed with the old carafe/lid design, buy the new one. You'll be glad you did!”

“So far it has worked fairly well. I have accidentally bumped the power button a few times without realizing it which has started my brew sooner than I wanted. Although that button is slick, I think I would prefer an actual switch. The carafe keeps the coffee warm for about 60-90 minutes but then it tends to cooler off quickly. My first cup is a great temp but my second and third cups often need some time in the microwave. Gives a nice mild tasting coffee. Would love to see an option for a cone filter rather than the flat bottom style. I do love how solid it feels. Not tons of plastic on it, but the plastic that is there is robust. Going to give it another couple of weeks. Not fully sold at this point but it's good enough to keep me moving forward.”

“I don’t like the way it pours at all. If I knew it would Splash so much I’m thinking I wouldn’t have purchased it. I’m also not a fan of the small opening to put the water in. I’m not able to get my hand in there to properly clean it. I’m sure in time the glass on the inside will get cloudy and be an eyesore sitting on my kitchen counter. I’m actually sorry I made this purchase.”
