“The machine makes excellent coffee and is simple to use. Can’t give 5 stars here because the gripes James Hoffmann makes are accurate. The carafe pouring experience is a poor design and the markings on the side of the tank are inaccurate. His review was well over a year ago so I was surprised to see that these issues had not already been addressed. I’d like to see an update made available on both the carafe and tank in which customers can choose to upgrade. This machine is really great, so fix these problems and it’s a 5 star machine no doubt.”
“For the price I would not expect as much condensation to form around the top of the machine, dripping down and causing a puddle of water to form. It brews a good cup of coffee and keeps it hot, but for $300 you expect, more.”

“Mostly very positive. Great taste, coffee stays warm, easy to use, and looks great. A little surprised by the lack thought (testing?) that went into the spout design and pouring. It’s clumsy and surprisingly difficult to pour coffee. It becomes more awkward after pouring a cup or two. The coffee pot needs to be rotated to a ridiculous angle - almost upside-down. Hoping a better design will sort out this issue in the future. Glad to be supporting an Oregon based business. Cheers”
“Makes a great cup of coffee every time. Before I got this, I made a pour over on a Kalita Wave whenever I wanted good drip coffee. This makes just as good of a cup with 90% less effort.”
