“I used to be a Keurig junkie when I knew absolutely nothing about coffee. Over the years I've upgraded from that to better machines. My last was a Cuisinart that also had a burr grinder. it was light years ahead of my Keurig days.
I've now gone to the other end of the spectrum and bought one of the most expensive machines on the market. And it's one of my best decisions (other than marrying my wife, of course)! The coffee is awesome! Hot (I like hot coffee) and flavorful. The broom feature makes full use of the beans flavor as well as the simulated pour over technique. Of course, you still need a good grinder and did I mention the Beans! Please do not purchase this machine and use tap water with ground coffee from Publix.
The machine itself is a work of art. It looks great resting on our kitchen counter. Easy to clean. The carafe keeps my coffee hot for a few hours. Which is super helpful because I like a cup after my morning run.
Well worth the investment! Thank you Ratio!!!”
“Awesome coffee maker, overall I love the quality and finish. My only negative comment is that the grounds basket is plastic, one of the most critical components to be metal as this is where the hot coffee sits the longest, and the geometry makes it difficult to clean. Over-time the plastic absorbs stale coffee smells. I'd love to see them get creative and develop an all metal filter basket similar to a Kalita or commercial drip brewer.”
“Great coffee maker. I was having issues with the power supply (very loose and would disconnect mid-brew), but their customer service representative was able to replace it with a new cord for free.”
“A major upgrade i the taste of my daily brew thanks to this coffee maker and outstanding customer service. Seems like a quality machine thus far and you get very used to the process of making coffee with the various pieces that are involved. Ratio's guidance for water:coffee ratios are a great start but I recommend a decent scale to get the numbers spot on. My only complaint is the water level indicators do not align with the documentation in terms of ounces, so without a scale you are left guessing a bit.”
